A firebug at heart. Michael LeBlanc has a passion for melting metal and preserving the centuries old craft of casting metal.

Michael discovered his passion at the University of West Georgia. Since then he’s been on the journey of studying with International masters and honing his skills in CAD design, woodworking, and metal work.

In 2022, Michael designed and built his own foundry from the ground up. Using his skills in 3D design, metal cutting, and welding he constructed a foundry that operates with just a single set of hands.

Since then, he’s been bringing metal casting to hobbyists, enthusiasts, and students with his mobile foundry.

Michael is a true creative. Ideas sparking in the moment, taking shape on paper, then making their way to the saw, 3D printer, and foundry.
